Abstract

PROTIPE MEDIA BIOFILTER CANGKANG SAWIT DAN TEMPURUNG KELAPA DALAM MENURUNKAN PARAMETER AIR LIMBAH PUSKESMAS RAWAT INAP Masalah Pencemaran timbul akibat meningkatnya kegiatan manusia salah satu adalah kegiatan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan ( Puskesmas Rawat Inap). Air limbah yang berasal dari Puskesmas Rawat Inap merupakan salah satu sumber pencemaran air yang sangat potensial, sehingga harus dilakukan pengolahan. Tujuan umum penelitian adalah menganalisis Prototipe media biofilter cangkang sawit dan tempurung kelapa dalam menurunkan kandungan parameter air limbah berdasarkan Per.Men.LH nomor 5 tahun 2014 pada air limbah Puskesmas Rawat inap. Tujuan Khusus adalah: 1) Membuat Prototipe Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) Puskesmas Rawat Inap menggunakan media biofilter cangkang sawit dan tempurung kelapa. 2) Mengukur kadar parameter air limbah Puskesmas Rawat Inap sebelum diolah pada IPAL yang menggunakan media biofilter cangkang sawit dan tempurung kelapa. 3) Mengukur kadar parameter air limbah Puskesmas Rawat inap setelah diolah dengan IPAL :a) yang tidak menggunakan media biofilter cangkang sawit dan tempurung kelapa, b) yang menggunakan media biofilter tempurung kelapa, c) yang menggunakan media biofilter cangkang sawit .d) Membandingkan kadar parameter air limbah Puskesmas Rawat Inap setelah diolah dengan IPAL :1) yang tidak menggunakan media biofilter cangkang sawit dan tempurung kelapa, 2) yang menggunakan media biofilter tempurung kelapa, 3) yang menggunakan media biofilter cangkang sawit. Selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan parameter baku mutu air limbah sesuai Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Nomor. 5 tahun 2014. Penelitian yang akan dilaksanakan bersifat Eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pretest-posttest with control group design. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Puskesmas Rawat Inap Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Kubu Raya Kalbar. Pemeriksaan parameter limbah Puskesmas Rawat Inap menggunakan AAS, Spektrofoto meter TDS di Laboratorium Sucofindo Pontianak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi perbedaan yang signifikan pengolahan air limbah dengan media biofilter cangkang sawit p = 0.015 (p<α) , media biofilter tempurung kelapa adalah p= 0.011 (p <α) ada perbedaan yang signifikan dan tanpa media biofilter adalah p = 0.011 (p<α) ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Rata-rata efektivitas penurunan parameter air limbah Puskesmas Rawat Inap sesudah diolah adalah 1) menggunakan media biofilter cangkang sawit sebesar 44,902% dengan efektivitas penurunan tertinggi pada parameter BOD sebesar 89,06 %, amonia nitrogen 87,20 dan COD 76,37 % 2) menggunakan media biofilter tempurung kelapa sebesar 38,673% dengan efektivitas penurunan tertinggi pada parameter BOD= 81,29 dan COD=. 66,73 3) tanpa pengolahan (bak kontrol) sebesar 35,535% dengan efektivitas penurunan tertinggi pada parameter BOD= 68,85 dan COD=. 61,93 BIOFILTER MEDIA PROTOTYPE OF OIL PALM FRUIT SHELL AND COCONUT SHELL IN LOWERING WASTE WATER PARAMETERS AT THE IN-PATIENT WARD OF THE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER Pollution problems occur due to increased human activities, one of which comes from the activities of Community Health Center wards. Waste water originating from the Community Health Center wards is a potential source of water pollution, so it should undergo treatment. The general aim is to analyze the biofilter media prototype of oil palm fruit shell and coconut shell in lowering waster water parameters based on the the Regulation of Minister of Environment Number 5 / 2014 at the health center in-patient ward waste water. Specific Objectives are: 1) To design a prototype of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) at the inpatient Community Health Center using biofilter media of oil palm and coconut shell. 2) to measure parameters of waste water at the Inpatient Community Health Center before it is processed in the WWTP using biofilter media of oil palm and coconut shell. 3) to measure parameters of waste water at the Inpatient Community Health Center after it is processed with the WWTP: a) not using biofilter media of oil palm and coconut shell, b) using a biofilter media of coconut shell, c) using a biofilter media of oil palm shell d) comparing levels waste water parameters at the Inpatient Community Health Center after being processed with the WWTP: 1) not using biofilter media of oil palm and coconut shell, 2) using a biofilter media of coconut shell, 3) using a biofilter media of oil palm shell. Then, it was compared with waste water quality standard parameters according to the Regulation of the Minister of Environment No. 5/2014. The research was experimental. The design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The location of the research was at Inpatient Community Health Center of Kubu Raya Regency Health Office of West Kalimantan. Checking the parameters of waste at the Inpatient Community Health Center used AAS, Spectrophoto TDS meter in the laboratory of Sucofindo Pontianak. The results of research showed that there was a significant difference between waste water treatment with the biofilter media of oil palm shell p = 0.015 (p <α) and biofilter media of coconut shell p = 0.011 (p < α), and without biofilter media p = 0.011 (p < α) there was a significant difference. The average decrease in the effectiveness of waste water parameters at the Inpatient Community Health Center after being processed is 1) using biofilter media of palm shell : 44.902% with the highest decline in the effectiveness of BOD parameter at 89.06%, nitrogen ammonia at 87.20 and COD at 76.37%; 2) using coconut shell biofilter media at 38.673% with the highest decline in the effectiveness of the BOD parameters = 81.29 and COD = 66.73; 3) without processing (control container) at 35.535% with the highest decline in the effectiveness of BOD parameter = 68, 85 and COD = 61.93
